General Terms & Conditions of Service
Article 1 – Applicability and consent
These general terms and conditions ("GTC") apply to all services offered and provided by AVoyage Financial Literacy (the "Services") to its clients (individually the "Client" or collectively the "Clients").
By registering, the Client confirms that he/she has read and understood these GTC and the Client agrees to all the terms set out herein. These GTC apply without reservation to and govern the contractual relationship between AVoyage Financial Literacy and the Client in connection with the provision of the Services.
Article 2 – Registration
In order to access and use the Services, the Client shall apply for registration by providing the following information:
- Email address
- Full name
- Password
- Line addresses
Once the registration process is completed and the fees are paid, the Client will be allowed to access an external service provider’s platform on which the course resources are available. We reserve the right to deny the access and use of the Services at any time if the Client:
- Provides false or misleading information during the registration process
- Has violated these GTC
- Is deemed unsuitable by us for any other reasons
We further specify that access to the Services is reserved for internal use by the Client, to the exclusion of any commercial use. Any commercial use will result in the immediate termination of the Client’s subscription and, thereby, the possibility of accessing and using the Services.
Article 3 – User ID and Password management
Clients are responsible for properly managing their user ID and password.
Under no circumstances should the Clients transfer, lend, or share their user ID and password with third parties. If a combination of user ID and password matches the registered information during login, it will be considered the user's own usage.
Article 4 – Payment
To be granted the access of the Services, Clients are required to pay the corresponding price according to the terms and modalities set by AVoyage Financial Literacy. In case of delayed payment, AVoyage Financial Literacy is entitled, at its own discretion, to suspend or terminate the Services immediately without further notice.
Payment may be made through our external supplier (Stripe) or direct bank payment. Should we use external supplier (Stripe) for the payment process, we will not store any data relating to the Client’s bank details and cards.
Article 5 – Prohibited activities
In particular, Clients must not engage in the following activities when using the Services:
- Activities that violate laws or public morals
- Activities related to criminal offenses
- Activities that infringe upon copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights contained within the Services
- Activities that disrupt or interfere with the functionality or operation of the Services or our external service provider’s servers, networks, or other users
- Commercial use of information obtained from the Services
- Activities that may interfere with or circumvent the security features of the Services
- Unauthorized access or attempted unauthorized access of the platform managed by our external service provider
- Collecting or accumulating personal information of other Clients or third parties
- Using the Servicesfor fraudulent purposes
- Actions that cause harm, damage, or discomfort to other Clients or third parties
- Impersonation of other Clients
- Unauthorized advertising, solicitation, or business activities on the Services
- Actions that provide direct or indirect benefits to antisocial forces related to the Services
Pursuant to Section 6 below, AVoyage Financial Literacy reserves its right to terminate the Client’s use of the Services for violating any of the prohibited uses.
Article 6 – Usage restrictions and termination
AVoyage Financial Literacy reserves the right, at its own discretion, to suspend or terminate the use of all or part of the Services by the Client without prior notice if the Client falls under any of the following:
- Violation of any provisions of these GTC
- Discovery of false or misleading information in the registration details
- Failure to fulfill payment obligations such as fees
- No response to our communication for a certain period
- No usage of the Services for a certain period after the last use
- Inappropriate behaviour
- Any other cases where we judge the Client's usage of the Services as inappropriate
Suspension or termination by exercising in application to this Section shall not entitle the Client to any refund or indemnisation.
Article 7 – Accessibility of the Services
The platform on which the Services are made available is hosted by an external service provider. The Client acknowledges that AVoyage Financial Literacy has no control over the functionality or content of said external service provider’s application, platform or website.
Therefore, AVoyage Financial Literacy does not make any representation or warranty as to the accessibility, availability or performance of the Services. All or part of the Services may be suspended or interrupted without prior notice to Clients for reasons such as:
- Maintenance or updates of the computer system of the external service provider
- Accidental interruption of the servers
- Natural disasters such as earthquakes, lightning, fires, power outages, or other irresistible forces that make providing the service difficult
- Breakdown or malfunction caused by the communication, network or electricity operator and, more generally, in the event of breakdowns and malfunctions over which AVoyage Financial Literacy has no control
Article 8 – Disclaimer regarding investment
Information and opinions contained in the course material or provided – orally or in any other way – by AVoyage Financial Literacy during the course do not constitute, nor are they intended to provide or be construed as investment advice or any financial or other advice.
AVoyage Financial Literacy does not make any representation or warranty (whether express or implied) that any information contained in the course material or provided during the course is accurate, reliable, up-to-date or complete. In particular, AVoyage Financial Literacy is under no obligation whatsoever to update or remove outdated information or opinions.
AVoyage Financial Literacy’s website/document/course is created for the purpose of providing information related to investment. However, investments carry risks. When making investments, please consider the following points:
- Awareness of Risks: Investing comes with various risks, including the potential loss of principal. Past performance does not guarantee future success. Previous investment performance can be influenced by market conditions, economic fluctuations, and other factors. Therefore, past performance does not indicate future results.

Any actions taken based on the course content are the responsibility of the Client; the final decision regarding investments is the sole Client's responsibility.
Article 9 – Limitation of Liability
AVoyage Financial Literacy accepts no liability whatsoever, to the fullest extent permitted by Swiss law, for access to and use of the Services.
In any case, AVoyage Financial Literacy does not warrant any specific results or outcomes from taking the course.
The Client therefore acknowledges and agrees that AVoyage Financial Literacy shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the access and use of the Services.
AVoyage Financial Literacy 's liability is excluded in particular :
- in the event of suspensions, interruptions, breakdowns of the Services, loss of data and damage resulting from a cause set forth under Section 7 above (Accessibility of the Services)
- If the Client uses the Services in a manner contrary to the laws or to these GTC
- for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services (external service providers)
- for any investments or any related financial decisions made by the Clients during or after the course
- for comments or content provided by other Clients on the platform
Article 10 – Change of Service content
AVoyage Financial Literacy reserves the right to change, add, or discontinue the content of the Services with prior notice to Clients and Clients are required to accept these changes.
Article 11 – Amendment of the GTC
AVoyage Financial Literacy reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these GTC by posting updates and changes to its website. It is the Client’s responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Client continued use of or access to our website or the Services following the posting of any changes to these GTC constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Article 12 – Handling of personal information
AVoyage Financial Literacy handles the personal information obtained through the use of the Services in accordance with its "Privacy Policy", available on its website.
Article 13 – Notifications or communications
Notifications or communications between Clients and AVoyage Financial Literacy are conducted using the methods specified by us. Unless Clients submit a change notification using a method specified by us, the currently registered contact information is considered valid, and communication to that contact information is deemed to have reached the Client at the time of sending.
Article 14 – Cancellation and refund policy
After purchasing the Services, cancellations and refunds are not accepted. The purchased Services will be immediately accessible, and cancellations or refunds during or after the provision of the course will not be possible. The Client shall be aware of this before purchasing.
The Client shall review the course content carefully and make sure he/she is satisfied before making a purchase.
Article 15 – Copyright and intellectual property
All content, text, images, videos, audio, and other information (referred to as "Content") contained in the course material is protected by the copyright and intellectual property rights of AVoyage Financial Literacy. The copyright and intellectual property rights related to the Content belong to AVoyage Financial Literacy.
Unauthorized use, reproduction, distribution, or sale of the Content of this course will be considered intellectual property infringement and may result in legal action and termination of the Service.
Article 16 – Indemnification
Clients agree to indemnify and hold AVoyage Financial Literacy harmless from any claim or demand arising out of the Client’s breach of these GTC or the violation of any applicable law or the rights of a third party.
Article 17 – Translation
In the event these GTC are translated into multiple languages, the English version shall always prevail in case of any discrepancy.
Article 18 – Jurisdiction and applicable law
The validity and performance of these GTC and the Services shall be governed by Swiss law, to the exclusion of its rules arising from the Federal Law on Private International Law.
Any dispute arising directly or indirectly from these GTC and the Services shall be exclusively settled by the courts of the canton of Geneva, Switzerland, subject to a right of appeal to the Swiss Federal Supreme Court.
